"He is like a tree planted along a riverbank, with its roots reaching deep into the water---a tree not bothered by the heat nor worried by long months of drought." Jeremiah 17:8
EM Records #111057
"Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me, for in you my soul takes refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed." Psalm 57:1
I am excellent at getting myself in trouble. I don't mean just every once in a while, I'm talking daily! With each mistake I figure I have surely used up my "mercy" allotment. But again each day, my Savior comes to rescue me. Every day His mercy swoops down and draws me ever closer to His side. How grateful I am for His faithfulness and unending love!
"Oh, that I had the wings of a dove! I would fly away and be at rest." Psalm 55:6
Just as a cool drink of water refreshes us on a hot day, our Father can refresh us every day. He has promised, from the moment we meet Him face to face, to carry us through this life all the way over to the other side of Jordan. I have a wonderful Savior and I thank Him for carrying me this far. I look forward to seeing His face one glorious, glorious day.
"The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall, but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:28-31
What sweet people have helped on this project! I appreciate each and every one of them.
Roger- for all your wonderful expertise and ideas. Thanks too for the prayers.
Scott and Steve- Do you think you two have spent a bit too much time together? Just how many ? can there be in a song?
Tommy- Thanks again for taking the time to do this project. You didn't even have a "Dewey schedule" this time to keep your life in order.
Lauren & Greg- Thank you for making it "comfortable" to sing there at the studio. Lauren, I especially appreciate your help with the vocals.
All the players and singers were wonderful, thanks for being on this project!
Farmer Dew, I love and appreciate you!!
